Usher’s Paris Door Drama Returns Amid Lookalike Drama

Usher is getting dragged all over again after an old video made his exit through a Paris hotel door look painfully royal.

The April 2025 footage resurfaced this week and shows the singer leaving Maison Baccarat in Paris beside a female companion.

She opens the glass door and Usher lets her pass before apparently signaling a nearby doorman to hurry over and take control.

The worker runs forward while Usher waits, then the singer finally strolls outside toward photographers and his waiting vehicle.

A Reddit critic wrote, “I’m sorry, IMO this is one of those things that usually indicates someone’s true character.”

“If he’s treating this poor employee like that in front of cameras, imagine how he behaves and treats others behind closed doors,” the commenter continued.

One reader cracked, “He doesn’t know how to close doors, only open them,” while another wrote, “Usher showing an usher how to usher.”

“At the same time, the doorman has one thing to do: open and hold the door,” the defender wrote.

“Usher didn’t yell at him either. If I’m not doing my job properly, it’s normal for someone to point it out to me.”

The footage contains no audible confrontation and no evidence has surfaced showing Usher insulted or threatened the hotel employee.

Still the rediscovered clip arrived during an especially weird stretch for Usher’s public image and rapidly renewed the diva accusations.

He was already trending after viewers alleged a look-alike performed at the August 7 MetLife Stadium stop on the Raymond & Brown Tour with Chris Brown.

“Usher you can’t fool New York that’s not you bro i want my money back,” one X user wrote in a post that topped four million views.

Usher dismissed the theory in Instagram comments: “Ya’ll are funny…clone? They can’t clone this??”

He added, “How ya’ll come up with this? AI ain’t that advanced.”

The co-headlining Raymond & Brown Tour began in June and currently remains scheduled to continue across North America through December.
