Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty’s racehorse Listenupshance just won $400K at Del Mar and earned a Breeders’ Cup berth.

Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty just proved their horse racing venture isn’t just celebrity vanity project stuff.

Their thoroughbred Listenupshance absolutely dominated the track at Del Mar, capturing the $400,000 Grade 1 Bing Crosby Stakes on Saturday and locking in a spot at the prestigious Breeders’ Cup.

This is the kind of win that separates the serious players from the Instagram flex crowd.

The 4-year-old gelding, guided by jockey Emisael Jaramillo and trained by Doug O’Neill, stayed patient early before making his move down the stretch. He edged out Maximum Bourbon by a nose in a photo finish that had the owners box going absolutely wild.

Listenupshance covered the six-furlong distance in 1:09, marking his first Grade 1 victory and a massive moment for everyone involved with Run Fast Racing.

For Jaramillo, this represented his first Grade 1 win stateside, a career milestone that doesn’t come around every day. The horse had been building toward this moment after finishing third in the Grade 3 True North Stakes at Saratoga earlier in the season.

That third-place finish looked like a stepping stone once you saw what he could do when everything clicked at Del Mar.

Run Fast Racing, the ownership group behind Listenupshance, was founded by entertainment entrepreneur Adam Kluger three years ago with Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, Rauw Alejandro, and Glenn Sorgenstein.

Kluger discovered horse racing as a teenager sneaking into tracks in Tampa and fell in love with the sport’s complexity and energy.

When he launched Run Fast Racing, Lil Yachty came on board immediately since Kluger had previously managed him. Rauw Alejandro brought genuine passion for racing, having grown up around the track with his grandfather in Puerto Rico.

Lil Wayne, always a serious sports enthusiast, fit naturally into the group’s vision.

What makes Run Fast Racing different is the accessibility angle.

The company lets regular fans co-own racehorses for just $100 monthly through their mobile app, giving everyday people access to something historically locked behind multi-million-dollar price tags.

Members get voting rights on stable decisions, access to the owners box, and direct payouts when horses win.

The Direct Pay program has already distributed nearly $60,000 to co-owners from previous victories.

The Breeders’ Cup Sprint at Keeneland on October 31 is now locked in for Listenupshance, and according to TMZ, the win positions Run Fast Racing as a legitimate force in thoroughbred racing.
