50 Cent targets Rick Ross with an empty-seat video after *Set In Stone* opens near 17,000 units and misses the Top 20.
50 Cent is keeping the pressure on Rick Ross by using another allegedly weak crowd to extend their vicious internet war.
The G-Unit mogul shared a video Tuesday that purportedly showed empty seats before Ross performed in Detroit, then targeted his Wingstop business.
“Got Damn, I never saw it this bad before. what you gonna do focus on the wings,” 50 Cent wrote beside the clip.

The post follows weeks of ridicule tied to Set In Stone, Ross’ first solo album since Richer Than I Ever Been arrived in 2021. The 19-track project opened with roughly 17,000 album-equivalent units, including nearly 15,000 streaming units, and landed outside the Billboard 200’s Top 20.
That result gave 50 Cent fresh ammunition against the rival he has battled publicly for nearly two decades.
“LOL HE GOT AWAY WITH IT FOR A WHILE, BUT ITS OVER NOW JIG IS UP!” 50 Cent wrote earlier. “20 features under 10 thousand sales. Damn boy it’s over.”
He also linked the numbers with Ross’ touring and restaurant businesses.
“So when your tickets don’t sell and your album don’t sell, what do ya do?” 50 Cent asked. “Promote car shows and sell chicken wings.”
Rick Ross has responded to the campaign, although he rejected 50 Cent’s framing rather than disputing the final consumption figure.
“Real Hip-Hop lovers should never get caught up in the propaganda and fake bot numbers,” Ross said. “Go to the product. Test it. How amazing is the music?”
Ross then connected the taunts to public tension surrounding 50 Cent’s Shreveport development plans.
“Let me ask how it’s going over there in Shreveport,” Ross said. “You borrowed all them people money, didn’t you? Return they money back. ’Cause Shreveport ain’t give you the loans you was looking for. ’Cause they smart. Why would you need a film studio? You’re stealing the people’s money. Give them people back their money, Curtis.”
The accusation remains unproven and followed 50 Cent’s threat to reduce his involvement in the Red River District amid disagreements with city leaders.
Louisiana approved a $124 million investment package for three downtown entertainment projects, giving Ross an opening to politicize the feud.
Ross is scheduled to perform Friday at Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, as 50 Cent keeps gauging his rival’s career by crowds and sales.
