Yung Miami Wants Drake on “Spend Dat” Remix

Yung Miami has one name at the top of her remix wish list, and she’s hoping Drake finally answers the call after previously leaving her DM unanswered.

Yung Miami is shooting for the stars, and this time she has Drake squarely in her sights.

Caresha‘s breakout solo smash “Spend Dat” keeps gaining momentum, and now the rapper has made it crystal clear who she wants standing beside her if a remix happens. During a red carpet conversation with Complex’s Jillian Superstar at the BET Awards, Yung Miami didn’t hesitate when asked about her dream collaborator.

“You gotta stay tuned for that, but I really want Drake,” she said. “Champagne Papi. You know we gotta call Drake. Iceman. I want Iceman!”

That is a bold request, but not exactly an unexpected one. Drake has a long history of hopping onto hot records and turning them into even bigger hits. With “Spend Dat” continuing to climb the charts, the timing might actually be better than ever.

Ironically, this is not the first time Caresha has tried to recruit the Toronto superstar.

During a recent appearance on Cam Newton‘s “Funky Friday,” she admitted she slid into Drake’s DMs asking for a verse on her 2025 song “Take Me To Chanel.” According to Yung Miami, the message never got a response. Still, she did not seem offended by the silence.

“I get it, I understand cos it’s just like—I gotta focus on me rn cos these people tryna take me out,” she explained, suggesting Drake had bigger battles on his plate following his highly publicized clash with Kendrick Lamar.

Now that the dust has settled around the K-Dot stuff, fans are naturally wondering whether Drake is finally ready to return to handing out guest verses.

The timing certainly works in Yung Miami’s favor. “Spend Dat” continues to build steam, recently climbing to No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. A Drake appearance would almost certainly inject even more energy into the record and could push it into the Top 10 if listeners embrace the collaboration.

Of course, there is one lingering question. Will Drake finally answer the call this time, or will Caresha once again be left waiting in the DMs?
