Amber Rose is suing Beverly Hills’ exclusive Gravitas club after a giant ornament fell on her head during a New Year’s Eve party, causing serious injuries.
Amber Rose ended up at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after a night out at one of Beverly Hills’ most exclusive spots went terribly wrong.
The model and entrepreneur is now suing Gravitas, a members-only dining club, after a massive decorative ornament fell from the ceiling and struck her head during a New Year’s Eve 2024 celebration.
The impact was severe enough to knock her unconscious, and she’s seeking damages for the injuries that followed.
According to the lawsuit, the incident occurred when one of the club’s oversized decorative spheres detached from its suspension above her seating area.

The ornament came down hard, and Rose immediately experienced serious symptoms including headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, confusion, and neck pain.
Medical professionals at Cedars-Sinai confirmed she had a significant head injury, a sore neck, and other trauma from the collision.
What makes this case particularly significant is the ongoing nature of her injuries.
Rose claims that her physical, mental, and emotional health symptoms have persisted well beyond that New Year’s Eve night, fundamentally impacting her daily life and ability to function normally. The lawsuit alleges negligence by Gravitas, citing inadequate maintenance or installation of the decorative elements that posed a clear danger to patrons.
Gravitas has become a hotspot for celebrities and high-profile figures since opening in Beverly Hills, with notable attendees including major entertainment figures celebrating at exclusive events.
The venue’s reputation for luxury and exclusivity makes this incident particularly damaging, raising questions about safety protocols at upscale private clubs where members expect premium protection and care.
Rose is seeking an unspecified amount in damages, but the real issue here is accountability.
When someone pays to attend an exclusive event at a high-end venue, they’re entitled to a safe environment free from hazards like improperly secured decorations.
