EXCLUSIVE: Nicki Minaj Denies Being A

Nicki Minaj’s lawyers say 24/7 Productions used “sensationalized tropes” to brand her spoiled and entitled, firing back just four days after the hotel reveal.
Nicki Minaj is back in court calling out 24/7 Productions for painting her as a “spoiled and entitled rap star” to make her look bad, and her lawyers came out swinging.
Attorneys Bruce Bieber and Hanoch Sheps of Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever say 24/7 Productions is relying on “sensationalized tropes to depict Minaj as a spoiled and entitled rap star receiving unearned personal windfalls, rather than a key performer utilizing common event hospitality built into a corporate budget.”
Her team also accuses 24/7 Productions of deliberately trying to “prejudice Minaj by referring to the hotel room rates and Minaj’s successes” to turn a routine billing dispute into something it’s not.
Last Monday, 24/7 Productions filed a sworn statement from its CEO and submitted Minaj’s actual hotel receipts as evidence in their $275,149.62 lawsuit against her.

Those receipts showed a $9,500-a-night suite at the Langham New York for seven nights, four additional rooms billed to the same master account, a $1,939.66 private kitchen dinner, room deliveries, cash advances and a minibar stocked with Evian water, Coca-Cola, Pringles and M&M Peanuts.
AllHipHop exclusively reported that the name on the hotel folio was “Tori Spaulding,” the alias Minaj used to check in. The total Langham bill alone came to $103,730, all paid by 24/7 Productions.
Every expense on those bills, her lawyers argue, was a pre-approved budget item, the kind any headlining artist builds into a major tour.
This dispute started in December 2023, when 24/7 Productions ran Minaj’s Jingle Ball shows and her Pink Friday 2 launch in New York.
The company fronted more than $255,000 out of pocket for staffing, lighting, sound, security and hotels, expecting full reimbursement once the shows wrapped.
When two years of invoices went ignored, they filed a lawsuit in March demanding $275,149.62, naming both Minaj and Pink Friday Productions LLC as defendants.
Nicki Minaj responded in July by asking a judge to toss the personal claim against her, calling the lawsuit “an ill-advised attempt to sue a famous deep-pocket.”
24/7 Productions then filed a sworn statement from its CEO along with hotel receipts as evidence, which AllHipHop first reported earlier this week.
That filing put Minaj’s hotel bills and the alias she used to check in on the public court record for the first time.
Minaj’s July 31 filing pushes back on every bit of it. Her lawyers say 24/7 made a deal with Pink Friday Productions LLC and that Nicki Minaj can’t be personally liable for her company’s debts.
They also make a significant counterclaim: Pink Friday Productions says the underlying debts were already paid in full.
Pink Friday has filed a formal answer raising 15 separate defenses and maintaining that nothing is owed to 24/7 Productions at all.
Her lawyers wrap up the filing by calling the whole case exactly what Minaj has said from the start. 24/7 made a deal with an LLC, didn’t get paid and went after the famous name attached to the company instead.
A judge is scheduled to hear arguments on Minaj’s motion to dismiss on August 3, 2026.
