Tee Grizzley celebrated a life changing legal victory after revealing every felony conviction on his record has officially been expunged.
The maneuver opens the door to new business opportunities and fewer barriers in his career.
The Detroit rapper shared the news with supporters on social media, particularly his IG page, in an emotional post. It doubled as a reflection on how far he has come since his early legal troubles.
“Every felony GONE!!!! Thank you God 🙏🏾 If you’re reading this and you’ve made mistakes, don’t let them convince you your life is over. One decision doesn’t have to define your entire story. NOW STAY OUTTA THE BS AND GO GET THE MONEY!!”

For Tee Grizzley, the announcement effectively closes a chapter that has followed him throughout his entire rap career.
His rise to fame began in 2017 with the explosive single “First Day Out,” a deeply personal record that documented his release from prison. He served time on a robbery related conviction.
The song quickly made him into one of Detroit’s most recognizable artists.
Even as his music career flourished, his criminal record continued to create obstacles behind the scenes.
Past felony convictions complicated international touring, limited certain business opportunities and even made routine life matters such as insurance and banking more difficult.
Tee Grizzley has expanded beyond music. In recent years, he has developed interests in gaming, entrepreneurship and other business ventures. International travel and additional commercial opportunities could become far more accessible now that he is not a felon.
Tee Grizzley took a moment to encourage others who may feel trapped by mistakes from their past.
“Keep working. Keep praying. Keep growing. Your comeback can be greater than your setback,” he said.
His story has long been one of transformation. “First Day Out” introduced listeners to an artist determined to rebuild his life after incarceration.
Now, he’s fully able and seemingly capable of moving forward in a most positive manner.
