Xzibit Admits He Was A ‘Horrible Husband’ As Six Year Divorce Finally Ends

Xzibit broke his silence after finalizing his divorce, admitting he was “a horrible husband” while saying the painful six-year legal battle ultimately brought him peace.
Xzibit took a moment to get deeply personal in public.
The renown rapper closed one of the longest and most painful chapters of his personal life with a candid public message, revealing that his yearslong divorce is finally over.
On top of that, he’s taking responsibility for his role in the failed marriage.
The rapper and actor announced on Facebook that he signed the final paperwork ending his divorce from Krista Joiner after what he described as a grueling six-year legal battle.

Rather than celebrating, X to the Z said he chose to spend the moment alone at his favorite steakhouse reflecting on everything he had endured.
“I’m taking full accountability for being a horrible husband, but I’m not a bad man,” Xzibit wrote. “I’ve made it a point to realize the things that are ahead of me are brighter than the things in my past.”
For those confused, Xzibit appeared to be divorced in the past, but it was really a judge declaring both parties “legally single.“
This new statement marks Xzibit’s first public comments since the divorce proceedings officially concluded. He said the experience drained him “emotionally physically financially” but added that he emerged from the ordeal intact.
“I thought I was gonna have a party or some type of celebration, but I don’t feel like that right now,” he admitted.
The split was anything but simple.
Krista Joiner filed for divorce in February 2021 after roughly six years of marriage. The couple was reportedly together since the early 2000s and married in November 2014. They share son Gatlyn and endured the heartbreaking loss of their infant son Xavier in 2008.
Even thought Xzibit gained his status as a single man through bifurcation, the vast financial issues remained unresolved. Krista sought increased support payments and claimed financial hardship.
Now that the case has concluded, Xzibit says he has no interest in reliving the bitterness.
“I don’t hate my ex-wife,” he wrote. “I just understand where I’m supposed to be and I hope that she can find the same peace that I have.”
He also offered encouragement to anyone facing a similar situation, saying there is “light at the end of the tunnel.”
He acknowledged he has no desire to repeat marriage.
“Divorce is not fun for anyone and I doubt I’ll ever get married again.”
