Floyd Mayweather tells Cam’ron the Black community that supported him for years is now praying for his financial collapse and legal destruction.
Floyd Mayweather sat down with Cam’ron and made a statement that cut straight to the heart of what’s been eating at him lately.
The undefeated boxer didn’t hold back when discussing the people who’ve supported him over the years and what he believes they’re doing now.
“The black community has been paying money for years to come see me fight,” Mayweather said. “You bet it on Floyd cause I prove that I’m 100 percent when I get in that ring. They believe in me. And after they go home, and they got everything they won, they’re praying on my downfall.”
That’s a heavy accusation, and it speaks to something deeper than just the legal battles piling up around him.
Mayweather’s been dealing with a mountain of lawsuits and financial issues throughout 2026, and he’s clearly frustrated with how the narrative has shifted.
He filed a $340 million lawsuit against Showtime Networks over allegedly owed fight earnings and a $175 million fraud case against former investment manager Jona Rechnitz and real estate adviser Ayal Frist.
He is fighting a $7.3 million IRS tax lien for unpaid federal taxes from 2018 and 2023.
On top of that, there’s a $105,000 unpaid private jet bill, $330,000 in unpaid rent for a Manhattan duplex, and felony charges related to a $200,000 bad check.
Despite all this, Mayweather insists his foundation remains solid.
“Nobody has taken none of my properties away from me. I still got all my houses, I still got everything. My mother, my whole family, their bills are still paid. Still pay all my employees,” he stated.
When Cam’ron brought up Logan Paul’s claim that Mayweather owes him $1.5 million from their 2021 exhibition, the boxer kept it brief.
“I wish them nothing but the best,” he said.
What stood out most was Mayweather’s unexpected praise for Jake Paul, something that caught listeners off guard given their history.
“I got to take my hat off to Jake Paul because I like Jake Paul’s hustle, right? He knows how to hustle and he knows how to get that bag. He is a white boy, but you can’t knock his hustle like a black dude from the hood,” Mayweather said.
