While on TODAY promoting Fightland, 50 Cent revealed a new Street Fighter track with Eminem and unreleased 2Pac vault vocals.
50 Cent came on TODAY to talk about his new STARZ series, and ended up dropping one of the biggest music announcements of the year.
While promoting Fightland, which premieres July 31 on STARZ, 50 casually revealed he’s got a new record featuring both Eminem and the late 2Pac. “I did something currently, me and Eminem and Tupac,” he told the hosts. “It’s actually for the theme for Street Fighter, the movie.”
The song is built around real, previously unreleased vault recordings from Pac and doesn’t involve any AI-generated vocals, a distinction 50 went out of his way to make.
As the music industry continues to wrestle with what’s acceptable regarding AI and posthumous releases, this one comes with the estate’s full endorsement. “We worked on it, and got it right,” he said, adding that Pac’s family and estate “loved it.”

What makes this moment genuinely historic is that no official record has ever put Eminem and 2Pac on the same track.
Pac was murdered in 1996, five years before Em became the biggest name in rap, so the two never got a chance to share a record while Pac was alive.
Now, nearly three decades later, a movie soundtrack is doing what time couldn’t.
The G-Unit connection to this whole thing runs deep. 50 built his career under Eminem’s Shady Records and Dr. Dre’s Aftermath, so their musical bond goes back over 20 years.
Back in December, 50 first teased an Eminem collab for the Street Fighter project without mentioning Pac, so the addition of the late rap legend is a major upgrade nobody expected.
50 is playing Balrog in the live-action Street Fighter reboot, sharing the screen with Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes. He’s also doing his own stunts for the role, which the Hollywood Reporter confirmed during production.
The film is set in 1993 and directed by Kitao Sakurai.
Street Fighter hits theaters October 16, 2026.
