Cardi B breaks down the biomechanics of why her butt moves the way it does, explaining the skin elasticity issues that prevent certain surgical procedures.
Cardi B broke down the science behind her body’s natural movement during a recent livestream, explaining the biomechanics of her signature backside jiggle.
The Bronx rapper went into detail about the physical realities of her body composition and why certain cosmetic procedures won’t work for her specific situation.
The key issue comes down to skin elasticity and how her body responds to surgical intervention.
“I can’t just go and lipo my butt because my skin is like kind of loose. Like that’s why my ass shakes so much,” she explained. “So if I just go and get a lipo reduction that is the easy way, my ass could drop.”

This isn’t just vanity talking. It’s actual anatomy. When someone has loose skin, aggressive liposuction can create sagging because there’s nothing to hold everything in place.
Cardi B clarified her surgical history to shut down the constant speculation.
“I ain’t got surgery since January 2024,” she said. “And even in January 2024, I didn’t went and got a lipo. I got my ass reduced.”
That’s it. No secret procedures, no ongoing tweaks. Just one reduction and she’s been living with the results ever since.
Beyond the surgery talk, she shared her actual wellness strategy with fans, and it’s way more practical than people realize.
The secret isn’t more procedures. It’s discipline and smart daily choices.
“Drink fiber so you could stool properly so your food won’t stay there overnight,” she advised. “If you’re going to be eating unhealthy, drink as much water as you can. In the morning, try to drink coffee so you could stool more regularly and wear your faja.”
She emphasized that fajas aren’t just for people recovering from procedures. They’re a tool for everyone managing their body composition and skin health.
The rapper made it clear she’s comfortable with where she’s at now.
“I like my body how it looks right now. I’m comfortable in my skin,” she stated firmly.
The broader message here is about body acceptance mixed with practical self-care.
She’s not preaching that everyone should skip surgery or that her body is perfect. She’s saying her specific anatomy makes certain procedures risky, and she’s made peace with that reality.
Her final message to the haters was simple and direct. “Enjoy y’all life. Enjoy yourself. Enjoy y’all everything,” she said, essentially telling people to stop obsessing over her body and focus on their own lives instead.
