D4vd’s Bloody Merchandise Video Resurfaces Amid Murder Case

D4vd’s fake-blood merchandise resurfaces as his murder case, a bogus Apple Music release and looming arraignment fuel attention.
D4vd has another nightmare viral moment as an old promotional video showing his fake blood-stained shirt races across social media.
The clip shows the jailed singer buying detergent while wearing merchandise splashed with fake blood to promote his 2025 album, Withered.
The stunt looks darker now because D4vd, legally David Anthony Burke, faces trial over 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s killing.

Prosecutors charged him with murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, and unlawful mutilation of human remains.
They allege he stabbed and dismembered Rivas Hernandez before storing her remains inside his Tesla, where workers discovered them in September 2025.
The clip’s return follows TMZ’s August 2 report, becoming the latest grim online spectacle surrounding the incarcerated singer.
Days earlier, a fake track titled “I DID IT…” appeared on D4vd’s official Apple Music page and quickly spread online.
Contrary to viral retellings, YouTube was not breached; the unauthorized upload appeared on Apple Music before its removal.
D4vd pleaded not guilty, and attorney Blair Berk said, “We believe the actual evidence will show David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez, nor was he the cause of her death.”
Defense attorney Marilyn Bednarski later argued, “There’s no evidence that Mr. Burke harbored a deliberate intent to kill Miss Hernandez.”
She said their communications showed “no threat, no evidence of a history of violence” and “the opposite of homicidal malice” toward Rivas Hernandez.
Deputy District Attorney Beth Silverman countered, “Based on the mountains of evidence presented, all of the allegations have been proved way beyond the standard required.”
She also said, “The defense tried numerous times throughout these proceedings to dirty up the victim,” despite Rivas Hernandez being a child.
District Attorney Nathan Hochman added, “There will be additional and significant evidence presented at trial that wasn’t presented at this preliminary hearing.”
Hochman separately said, “This has been a parent’s worst nightmare, hearing the ghoulish details of how their child was killed, dismembered and left as trash.”
A judge ordered D4vd to stand trial and upheld special circumstances involving lying in wait, financial gain and killing a potential witness.
Those findings expose D4vd to life without parole or death, although prosecutors have not decided whether to seek execution.
Rivas Hernandez’s family attorney Patrick Steinfeld said relatives were “horrified that the defense attorneys brought up evidence to put the blame on a 14-year-old girl.”
D4vd remains jailed without bail and returns for arraignment August 31, with trial potentially beginning within 60 days afterward.
